Hello! I am Sher Bea Mairene E. Esleta, a Grade 12 STEM student from STI College Caloocan. Through this platform, let me take you on a journey of my life.
If there is one thing I genuinely think that I am truly blessed with, it would be my family. I came from a family of creative people, and I can say that my love for art and music continuously blossomed mainly because of them. Through the years, playing musical instruments and drawing became one of my hobbies.
Nevertheless, although my parents are supportive of my passion, I still choose to explore other things such as dancing and theatre performing, as well as expanding my knowledge for my future career. With this, I am pursuing my ambition to become a nurse; hence, choosing STEM as my track.
As I grew older, art has always been my sweet escape amidst the chaos of my own mind. It is something that gives comfort and solace, regardless of the outcome. I believe that at the end of the day, every work remains a masterpiece only my delicate hands can ever create.
In fact, there is no good nor bad in any form of art, it just depends on the person's perspective. This is how I learned how life works. While some prefer a well-painted artwork, others prefer abstract and scribbles— and there is nothing wrong with that at all. We may have our own preferences in life, but that does not make anyone less than the other.
After all, we just want happiness in life.
